# Vault Desk

Solari’s flagship workspace for professional gold ownership, structured acquisition, evidence, credit, and delivery.

### The Flagship Solari Workspace

Vault Desk expresses the full Solari proposition. It is the professional environment for individuals, family offices, businesses, and institutions that want substantial gold exposure together with structured acquisition, settlement, evidence, reporting, delivery, and advanced gold services.

**sXAU: the fine-ounce standard**

One sXAU represents one fine troy ounce — 31.1035 grams — of vaulted gold. It is a fine-gold ownership unit, not a claim that every position corresponds to one particular one-ounce retail bar. This gives customers a clear, familiar measure while allowing professional custody and allocation to operate across appropriate bullion formats.

Within Vault Desk, the holder can acquire or sell sXAU through supported workflows, convert eligible GoldNote value into sXAU, review the position and its evidence trail, monitor receipts and account history, and request a physical-delivery quotation after reaching the applicable threshold.

**One professional view**

* GoldStackz, GoldNotes, and sXAU holdings organized by weight and value.
* Funding, SUSD, Yield balances, and amounts reserved in open Gold Pools.
* Gold Credit Line obligations and the effect of collateral locks on available positions.
* Portfolio reporting, price references, receipts, evidence, messages, and delivery activity.

Vault Desk is not simply a place to view gold. It is the operating environment through which a serious gold position can evolve without losing its history.

### Structured Acquisition

Gold Pools allow eligible participants to coordinate acquisition during a defined subscription period. They are designed for customers who value disciplined procurement, clear lifecycle states, and an ownership record that begins only after the gold has actually completed the required process.

**Reservation is not issuance**

An eligible SUSD subscription reserves participation while a pool remains open. It does not immediately create a GoldNote. After closing, acquisition, bullion receipt, review, and allocation must occur. Only then is the corresponding GoldNote issued. This sequence — reservation, closing, acquisition, receipt, allocation, issuance — prevents a pending subscription from being presented as completed gold ownership.

**A durable GoldNote record**

GoldNotes represent allocated positions created after the pool process is complete. They can be held, reviewed through supporting records, sold or liquidated through supported workflows, combined where eligible, converted into an sXAU pathway, used toward delivery, and incorporated into qualifying collateral consolidation when approved.

The GoldNote is therefore more than a digital certificate image. It is the customer-facing expression of a position with a lifecycle: subscription, acquisition, receipt, allocation, issuance, ownership activity, and an eventual decision to continue holding, sell, consolidate, pledge voluntarily, or request physical fulfillment.

**Pool discipline:** Solari keeps the reservation, acquisition, receipt, allocation, and issuance events separate — and preserves the evidence surrounding each stage.

### Utility with Customer Choice

Solari gives a gold owner more than one exit. A position may remain vaulted, be sold, move through an eligible consolidation, support a voluntarily requested credit facility, or enter a reviewed physical-delivery process.

**Gold Credit Line**

The Gold Credit Line provides an elective collateral pathway without removing qualifying gold from custody. The customer identifies an eligible collateral block; approved positions remain in custody but are locked from sale, transfer, conversion, or delivery while the obligation remains outstanding. Every other holding in the account stays exactly as it was — untouched, unencumbered, and unaffected by the decision. Solari does not pledge or encumber customer gold without the holder's express authorization.

Solari intends to work with a qualified, licensed lending provider to operate the Gold Credit Line rather than extend credit directly, so that lending disclosures, eligibility standards, and default handling sit with a party equipped to carry that responsibility. Availability, advance rates, pricing, collateral requirements, repayment, and default procedures will be established through that provider arrangement and published in full before the facility opens to customers. The principle is already implemented in the platform model: credit affects only the gold the customer deliberately places into the approved collateral state.

**Physical delivery**

Physical-delivery review becomes available when eligible holdings reach 1.00 fine troy ounce — approximately 31.1035 grams. Reaching the threshold opens a process: the customer requests a quote; Solari reviews the eligible position and product form; applicable fabrication, premium, handling, insurance, shipping, taxes, duties, and jurisdictional conditions are presented; and nothing ships until the customer accepts the final terms.

Gold can remain digitally useful for as long as the holder chooses — and become physically deliverable when ownership needs to move beyond the screen.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://solari-finance.gitbook.io/solari.finance-docs/vault-desk.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
